Nicholas LaVerghetta is the founder and principal of NCM Capital Management, LLC, an SEC-registered wealth advisory firm domiciled in New Jersey. With over two decades of practice in the financial industry, Nick has built an extensive and well-rounded background working at a broad range of firms - a wealth management firm, an institutional broker, a bank, a mutual fund company, and a full service wirehouse. Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Gettysburg College. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®).
Prior to founding NCM, Nick was a Senior Investment Advisor with Brinton Eaton Wealth Advisors, a registered investment advisor. He was a member of the in-house investment committee and provided investment strategy and financial planning to high net worth clients.
From 2000 to 2007, Nick worked at Fidelity Investments in Paramus, NJ which is regarded as one of Fidelity's flagship offices. In a short period of time, Nick became one of the top advisors in the country. At the time of his departure from Fidelity, Nick had become Vice President in the Private Client Group and was responsible for over $2 Billion in assets under management for high net-worth clients.
While at Fidelity, he was honored 3 times for the prestigious "President's Circle" Award* which is awarded to only a select few in the nation. He also was selected for the "Achiever"*, which is awarded to the top 20-30% of investment representatives. His demonstrated strong leadership abilities and industry knowledge resulted in a selection to serve on the Private Client Group Leadership Council representing the NY Tri-State area, where he provided input for the future direction of this business for Fidelity.
Nick resides in Bergen County, New Jersey with his wife, Kelly and 3 children. He enjoys spending time with his family at the New Jersey shore, playing a lot of basketball, golf, and tennis, and loves coaching his kid's youth sports teams.
Mark S. Weber CPA, PFS, CFS, CGMA is a principal in NCM Capital Management, LLC. He has in excess of twenty five years of investment management and financial planning experience. Mark is also the managing partner of Weber, Shapiro & Co LLP, a 25 person accounting and consulting firm, based in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Mark began his career with the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse in 1981. Prior to co-founding Weber, Shapiro, Mark was the Director of Operations for a national financial planning firm. He is a graduate of Pace University, with a Bachelors of Business Administration, with a major in Accounting.
Mark is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New Jersey Society of CPAs. He has acted as the Financial Planning Committee Chairman, Federal Tax Committee Chairman, and Newsletter Chairman for the Bergen County chapter of the New Jersey Society of CPAs. Although he has extensive experience in all aspects of taxation, Mark prefers to focus on individuals and small businesses; providing financial planning, investment advice, and tax planning. Mark holds the AICPA Personal Financial Specialist designation (PFS) and is a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS).
Mark has been a member of the Allendale Foundation for Educational Excellence, Inc. where he has been Treasurer for three years and President for two years. He has served for two years as Treasurer of Temple Beth Haverim in Mahwah, New Jersey. Mark has also served one year as a general board member and one year as Treasurer for Rebuilding Together Bergen County. He is currently on the North American Advisory Board for the Alliott Group, an international alliance of accountants, attorneys, and consultants. Mark also serves on the Advisory Council for Provident Bank.
He resides in Ramsey, New Jersey with his wife and two black labs. He and his wife, Ann have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. He enjoys playing golf, tennis, exercising, and cycling.
